ARTECHOUSE: 439 W 15th St, New York, NY 10011: This art center is all lights and illusion. It is a mix of science, technology, and art (ART-TECH-HOUSE). They are in three locations: Washington, DC, Miami Beach, FL and New York City, NY. The center consists of large ‘walls’ where projectors hit the ‘walls’ and give you a 360° view of the designs. Visitors ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older at all times. Tickets purchased at our box office will incur an additional $2 service fee. Arcadia Earth: 718 Broadway, New York, NY 10003: Their website describes their museum as ‘a large scale multi-sensorial journey through underwater worlds, fantasy lands, and inspirational art installations. Powered by augmented reality, virtual reality, projection mapping, and interactive environments, you, the explorer, will learn how small lifestyle changes will have a massive impact on the future of our planet’. Prices are a bit high, but for what you learn and what you experience is worth it! ZeroSpace: 136 W 33rd St, New York, NY 10001: There are two options - The museum and The Show. The Show includes the museum and an added narrative performance with 15 actors that take you through the entire space. The museum is full of light installations for kids and adults. David Zwirner: 525 W 19th St, New York, NY 10011: There is a new light installation by American artist Doug Wheeler. It is at the gallery’s 519 West 19th Street location in New York. Museum of Illusions: 77 8th Ave, New York, NY 10014: There is no need to explain what this museum is about, but if you like mind tricks then this is the place for you. This is a museum for all ages, and great for some cool social media posts!
