Cobh is a place in the south of Ireland that is renowned for its beautiful scenery, and breathtaking views. Being only 30-40 minutes away from Cork city centre, and being served by a regular bus and also train service makes Cobh an ideal place to live, work and play. Visitors can expect breathtaking views of the waterfront, steep hills which make for exciting bus journeys, and pretty quaint houses dotted along the entire town centre.
Three of the main supermarkets Lidl, Aldi and Supervalu are conveniently located beside each other just a bit outside of the main town, which makes it easy for one to do their grocery shopping. The train operates approximately every 30 minutes, while the bus generally has one service per hour. Transport costs are not too expensive, so visitors do not need to expect to have their wallets emptied too quickly.
Cobh is a town that manages to combine the convenience of urban transport with the tranquility of countryside living. It is a popular place for many people to live in while commuting to Cork city centre for work. Newsagents such as Centra, Eurospar and Costcutters can also be easily found within the area, so paying bills, getting little bits and pieces, or using an ATM is not usually an issue.
